You can use this shortcut method to multiply any two digit number by 11 in a single line without using the conventional method where you have to first multiply in two lines and then add in the third line.
Example:- 58 x11
In this method you get the answer as below:-
1. In the above example simply insert the total of the two digits in between the digits of the original number [5 (5+8) 8]
2. You Get [5 13 8]
3. Carry over 1 and add it to 5 to get your answer [6 3 8]
Your answer is 638.
