Multiplication of Two Digit numbers
You can use this method to multiply two digit numbers in your mind without using the conventional method where you have to first multiply in two lines and then add in the third line.
Example:- 87 x 36

In this method you get the answer in three easy steps:-
1. The digit at units place = 6x7=42. You get 2. Carry forward 4.
2. The digit at tens place = (6x8)+(3x7)+4 [carry forward from step 1]=73. You get 3. Carry forward 7.
3. Rest of the digits = (3x8)+7 [carry forward from step 2]=31.
Your answer is 3132.
Beleive me it is very simple and useful. Just practice with two three examples and you'll learn how to use it.
