Of late I have noticed that many people are unaware about the salary of a Bank clerk in Nationalised Banks. The salary in almost all the nationalised banks is approximately equal. Below is given the basic structure of salary of a bank clerk:
Basic pay-6200
HRA-620
Transport allowance-225
DA (30%) -1860
CTO allowance-1500
Total-Rs.10405/-
In addition to this you get yearly medical allowance and you can avail LFC ( Leave Fare Concession)
DA is approx because exact current rate is not known to me but this gives a fair idea of what is the salary of clerks in banks. Some additional allowances may be there but I doubt.
Dear friend don't get disheartened by this salary because the increments are good even better than what is in central govt. jobs.
